India is the land of diverse culture and religions. There are numerous festivals we celebrate through out the year in this country. But generally months October and November are considered as the festive season. Just be cause most of the important festivals of all cultures fall in this season.

It’s a fact that festive season always translate into a smorgasbord of sweet snacks and whole lot of tasty temptations. Even though if one maintains a healthy weight but till the end of this season gains few pounds.

So here we are coming up with some scientifically proven ways which will help you to maintain your health this festive season. Especially they will help you in maintaining your weight.

• Always have breakfast.

Several studied and researches revealed that people who skip morning meal tend to eat more poorly through out the day. Having a good breakfast comprising of quality protein and fibres will stabilise your blood sugar levels and hunger.

People who generally avoid breakfast feel craving through out the day. Subsequently, this results in intake of unhealthy snacks between meals. These people till the end of the day have 100-500 extra unhealthy calories from processed snacks.

• Stick to your workout schedule.

Many people like to celebrate with some alcoholic drinks. As usual festive season will be full of celebrations and drinks too. Although it’s not cool to have alcohol during festival celebrations. But if you are that type of person, just keep an eye on alcohol consumption.

Alcohol is mostly fattening and regular high quantity intake throughout the season will increase your weight. So it is advisable to control the amount of alcohol you consume over these months. Just avoid yourself in over indulging.
