The primal diet is basically an eating pattern that is high in protein and fat, while very low in carbohydrates. It is basically designed in a close manner like early humans used to have. Primal diet is based on the idea that Western dietary and lifestyle habits diverge too greatly from our traditional Hunter gatherers. Trials reveal that, this diet may significantly improve HDL cholesterol levels, while reducing triglycerides and LDL cholesterol levels. Meanwhile more amount of studies and researches are required for some of the concrete evidences of benefits.

As mentioned above, primal diet focuses on lifestyle factors that include physical activity and educate sleep. These two factors are effective stress control methods. It is a concrete fact that regular physical activity and educate sleep for at least 7 hours each day at night may reduce the stress levels. In addition to this, regular exposure to the sunlight and engaging in creative or social activities may also improve moods.
