Intermittent fasting

All of us have seen our family members fast in the name of God. But did you know that fasting has many benefits than just a religious belief. Intermittent fasting is a form of diet that involves regular short term fasts and consuming meals within a shorter time period during the day.

It is of many different types.

Alternate day fasting is a form of fasting where one fasts on alternate days and eats normally on the other days. On non fasting days eat 500 -600 calories. It is best to adopt a healthy eating pattern on non fasting days and avoid over eating.

Mindful eating should also be kept in mind while practising this form. Trough this people pay attention to what they eat and keep their intake in control.

Another thing that should be kept in mind is the speed at which you eat.

Do not swallow your food and gulp it down.

Eat slowly and chew every bite properly .

Some people believe that making a conscious effort by sitting on a table helps focus on the type of food that you eat and restricts overeating. There are many ways of losing weight. But this form stands out in because it does not ask you to take out time from your busy schedule.

It simply has to be accepted in your lifestyle and followed diligently.
