Strength training vs. hypertrophy training know the difference between both.
Basically, the choice between hypertrophy training and strength training depends upon your goals and physical standards. Strength training is generally used to increase muscle strength. On the other hand, if you want to increase the size of your muscles opt for hypertrophy training.

All the exercises and equipment that are used for strength training and hypertrophy training are pretty much similar. But the primary differences are in training volume, training intensity and rest between sets.
1. Strength training.
For getting muscular strength, one must reduce the number of repetitions in each set. But increasing the intensity or weight. Add the rest period between the sets in strength training remains about 3 to 5 minutes.
2. Hypertrophy training.
In hypertrophy training, it is advisable to increase the training volume. More sets and repetitions too. But the intensity goes on decreasing from first set to last set. The rest period in hypertrophy training remains around 1 to 3 minutes.
